Tuesday Morning Sketches #94

Good Morning!  It's Tuesday and we have a really fun challenge on Tuesday Morning Sketches for you this week.  We have a great sponsor returning this week, One Stop Card Crafts is back with us and is offering a  £10.00 shopping voucher.  This week is also the Judged Challenge, so it's time to pull out all the stops and really let yourself go.

So Theresa decided on this week's challenge, she said we're going to pull out an older technique....

Crayon Resist

You remember that?  Yep, it's time to raid your children's, grandchildren's, niece's or nephew's crayon box for their white crayon.  This technique is so easy that delivers a lot of pop.  Here's my card....

I did use the most fabulously fun sketch from The Sweet Stop for the layout and I pulled out lots of supplies from my stash.  I am really happy with the results.

Supplies:
Card stock:  Chocolate Chip, Very Vanilla, Glossy White
Stamps/Ink:  Tickled Pink (CTMH), Daisy (DRS Designs), Rich Cocoa, Desert Sand (Memento), Summer Sun, Old Olive, Close to Cocoa (SU!), Black Staz-On
Tools:  Labels Two (Spellbinders), Square punches (SM), sponges, white crayon (Crayola)
Embellishments:  Brown rick-rack

Now head on over to TMS to join us!

Bee Crafty #50 - Birthday for Little Ones

Good Morning!  I hope you all had a great weekend.  Mine was busy but a good one.  I spent a glorious morning outside in a park with some friends.  The company, conversation and food was wonderful!

I know I usually share a card at the beginning of each month for the Bee Crafty challenge, but I thought I'd hang onto this card and share it mid-month to give a little mid-challenge inspiration.  Here's my card using Toy Box.

I hope to see you join us over at Bee Crafty and although you're not required to use Bee Crafty images, we'd love to see what you do with them!

Enjoy your Monday!

Tuesday Morning Sketches #93

Good Morning!  Can you believe that it's Tuesday already?  You know what that means... it means it's time for a new sketch and another a great sponsor over at Tuesday Morning Sketches.  This week is being sponsored by Sassy Design Studio.  Thank you to Lindsay for the allowing us a couple of images to play with!  I chose Firefighter Honey for my card....

I think she is really adorable and I had a lot of fun coloring her.  It reminded me of when I was little and my oldest sister would let me color in her Barbie coloring book.  I loved coloring in the make-up!

Supplies:
Card stock:  Neenah Classic Crest, White (Recollections), Black (Recollections)
Paper:  Red Stripes (Recollections)
Copics:  B00, B02, B05, C8, C10, E00, E02, E30, E53, R27, R29, W-2
Tools:  1 1/4, 1 3/8 circle punches, Scallop Nesties (Spellbinders), Border punch (Martha Stewart)
Embellishments:  buttons (my stash)

I hope you head on over to join us for this week's challenge.  Thank you so much for stopping by!

Tuesday Morning Sketches #92

Good Morning!  It's Tuesday, so that means it's time for a great sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches.  We have a brand new sketch that was created by my sister and senior design team member, Theresa.  I am so excited about some new changes that are coming up at TMS - so you'll have to come back for more!
We are sponsored this week by StampFairy and they were kind enough to allow some fabby images to play with.  This is Patsy - April Showers.

And here's the card...

This was a really fun sketch to play with.  Great job Theresa!!  It allowed me to try a fun technique with striped paper.  By cutting it in different directions and then in 1/2 inch strips, then alternating it created a really pretty chevron.  It was a little frustrating to do, but once I got it - it turned out cool!

Supplies:
Card stock:  Neenah Classic Crest, Bashful Blue
Paper:  Stripes (SEI)
Copics:  B00, B000, BG01, BG05, C8, E00, E02, E30, E34, R11, RV000, RV10, W-3, Y11, Y15
Stamps/Ink: Sentiment from Cocoa's Latte (SNSS), Tuxedo Black (Memento)
Embellishments:  Pearls (Recollections), Glitter Glue (Studio G)

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog.  Now head on over to TMS and join us for some fun!
