Tuesday Morning Sketches #409

Hello!  Thank you for stopping by.  The latest sketch is up at Tuesday Morning Sketches and it's a great one by Janice!  I love this sketch - it goes into the go-to file when you need some card inspiration.

My card features the Mini Market Kit: Herb Garden set by Papertrey Ink.  This one just released and yes, I treated myself.  I thought I was finally in place that I could treat myself a little more often and then when I do... well my card died and I had to get another.  Ugh!  I haven't had a card payment in 5 years, time to tighten up the belt again.  Anyway, the kit is fun... love the stamps and dies in this kit.  I'm not sure I like the papers.  What do you think?

I am also not one for puns, but I actually like the sentiments in this set.  Some create a pun but there are also words like in my card that give a meaning behind the herb.

The kit also came with some pre-printed images that work perfectly with the dies.  So the only stamping I did this time was the sentiments.  I want to use up this paper or I'll give it away - I'm still not sure I like it but I love love love the stamps.  I can't wait to play some more with this set.

Please join us at the TMS blog - I think you'll really enjoy using this stamp.

Tuesday Morning Sketches #408

Hi there! Thank you for stopping by.  I do so love your visits.  The sketch is up at Tuesday Morning Sketches and I think it's a fun one.  Really open to interpretation.

My card features nothing but paper from the Linen Closet Mat Stack.  No stamps, no dies - just paper.  What do you think?

I think these are cute notecards - they were super quick and super easy.  I challenged myself to look at these papers that always come in a mat stack that one never uses unless they're doing traditional scrapbooking and even then, it's debatable.  There were some great pieces that worked as sentiments.

Please be sure to head on over to the TMS blog and join us and leave my team some love.  Have a fantastic day.

Tuesday Morning Sketches #407

Hi there!  Thanks so much for stopping by!  The sketch is up at Tuesday Morning Sketches and it's a great one.  Some basic elements with options for so much more.

My card features some stamps and dies that my son gave me for Mother's Day.  He said "treat yourself Mom."  So I did!

The stamps and dies are from a beautiful set called Floral Sketches by Papertrey Ink.  I used to be a huge fan of this stamp company.  Not that I ever stopped being a fan but you know how it goes, other great stamps come along and you start to check those out.  Well, I am back to being a customer as the budget allows.  The vertical strip elements are from a stamp set Washi Tapes by MFT and the swirl element is from an ancient set by Autumn Leaves.  I also pulled out a couple of colors of Nuovo drops to accent that swirl piece.

I really love how this card turned out - I only made one this time.  I didn't have much stamping mojo this weekend and before you know it, it's Monday again and no time to stamp during the week.

Please join us over at the TMS blog to play along and be sure to visit the team's blogs and leave them some much deserved love.

Tuesday Morning Sketches #406

Hello!  Thank you for stopping by.  The sketch is up at Tuesday Morning Sketches and this one was created by Debbie.  I love the elements of this sketch!

My card features stamps from There She Goes (closed) and Altenew.

I've also had this paper stack from Hobby Lobby that is a lot of fun.  It's all Kraft with black print. It's classy and fun!  I think it's the perfect neutral back drop to make those flowers pop!

Please join us - I'll be back around when I've recuperated a little more from the last two weeks.
